VISION
Engaging, Educating & Empowering underrepresented youth through literacy, mentorship and leadership training
DEDICATED TO MAKING A DIFFERENCE
The Leela Projected was first formed to help make a difference with at risk youth within the foster care community
GOAL
Our goal is to provide opportunities to youth by first meeting their needs. By doing this we decrease the negative statistics revolving around the foster care system and low-income communities by building an era of men and women that are integrous, intelligent, confident, entrepreneurial and resilient.
BARBERS AND BACKPACKS
On the 23rd of June, we will have the honor of hosting our 3rd annual Barbers and Backpacks event from 12-4pm at the Shops at Dos Lagos! We are the Leela Project, and our primary focus is to make a difference in your community by giving foster boys the same opportunities and empowerment that other children grow up with.
SENIOR CITIZEN DINNER
We believe that there are multiple ways to serve our community, one of those ways is serving those who came before us and helped us grow into who we are today. That is why we decided to serve the elderly last Thanksgiving. By offering them a meal, and friendship.ore →
USC FIELDTRIP
Something that is huge in our hearts, is the education for kids in the foster system. We hope that by showing the future that could be possible more than just telling them about it, we can encourage and help them grow.→
